I swam on Thursday - 3000 yards, nothing special
I've got my first sprint triathlon tomorrow, not only my first sprint but my first pool triathlon. This will be interesting since A. I usually take a nap in transition and B. It takes my body a good 30-40 minutes to warm up. I'm in the 2nd to last heat wave which puts me in with the "faster" swimmers, WTF was I thinking? I'm attacking the course blindly and allowed for a one day taper :D. What long course athlete tapers for a "fun" race, let alone a sprint. But alas - my first "race" of the season - I am giddy.
